Ok, I had absolutely no idea that wallplates came in different sizes!! I knew that you could get them with one hole, two holes etc... and I knew that they came in all sorts of different colors but, now I know that they come in Standard, Mid-Way and Oversized for those of us that cut the hole in the wall too big or mis-calculate the tile of our back splashes. Oops!! Below I have listed part numbers and dimensions of three, 2 gang toggle wallplates in the different sizes.

 

Standard (the most common size) : 4 1/2 X 4 9/16

Mid-Size (just a little bigger) : 4 7/8 X 4 15/16

Oversized (for the really BIG operations!!) : 5 1/4 X 5 5/16
(Oversized only available in a limited varieties of configurations and only a few colors)
